Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services
Location: Birkenhead
Sector: Building Services Consultancy
We’re looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a team working on a variety of exciting building services projects. If you have a strong background in electrical design and want to be part of a company that values quality and teamwork, this could be a great fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake electrical design for a range of building services projects
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, and tender documents
- Attend design team meetings and site progress meetings
- Ensure designs comply with current regulations and standards
- Conduct site inspections and produce detailed reports
- Manage electrical load assessments and statutory supply applications
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of six years’ experience in the electrical services industry with strong design expertise
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (experience with Revit is advantageous but not essential)
- Experience using Relux/Dialux, Trimble Pro Design, or similar electrical design software
- Strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach
- A full UK driving licence
