Required Skills:

  • Minimise wastage and encourage creative thinking
  • Solid seafood knowledge and experience
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef within a similar establishment
  • Adhere to all company and government food safety legislation
  • Ensure good kitchen planning to enable a trouble-free service and customer satisfaction
  • Help to promote and maintain a good working environment, leading by example and develop the team around you
  • Hands on, passionate, Energetic Self-motivated individual
  • Proven track record in delivering high quality dishes in a time pressured environment

JWR is currently working with an established group of leading seafood restaurants across the South West looking to recruit an experienced Sous Chef for their new restaurant opening in a popular and picturesque Devon location. All the restaurants within the group are located in prime waterfront locations, with its own fleet of fishing trawlers catching the freshest local produce on a daily basis.
