We are delighted to be working on behalf of a world leading manufacturer to recruit a Coating Operatives to join their team in Livingston on a permanent basis
This is a great opportunity to join an experienced and progressive department.
- Salary: £27,398 then £30,579 on successful completion of probationary period. The salary includes shift allowance.
- Hours of Work: Candidate would be working the two-shift pattern - dayshift 6am to 6pm Mon, Tue, Wed, 6am to 2.00pm Thursday, nightshift 6pm to 6am - nightshift starts 6pm Monday night and runs through to 6.00am Thursday morning.
- Immediate start!
- Full training will be provided.
Main Duties Include
- Running of various coating machines
- Role changes on coating machines
- Machine / equipment set up
- Setting up work in progress lines
- Helping with machine change overs, units, rubbers, cylinders
- Cleaning units and cylinders, trays to wash plant
- General house keeping
- Covering for breaks so some training would be given on coating machines.
The ideal candidate.
- Must have high attention to detail, ability to follow recipes, calculating ratio's for mixes, ability to colour match.
- Ideally someone with similar experience in print industry, and / or manufacturing.
- Excellent communication and inter departmental skills
- Should be capable of working as part of a production line team.
- Will understand the need to be flexible regarding job tasks, be open and willing to assist where required.
