Location: Colchester
Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 17:30
• Every other Saturday: 08:00 - 12:00
  Pay: £11.70 per hour, paid weekly every Friday

Role Overview:

Morning Warehouse Duties:

• Order Picking: Start your day in our busy Colchester warehouse, where you’ll be responsible for picking and preparing customer orders. Accuracy is key, as you’ll ensure that the correct car parts are selected and ready for delivery.
• Van Loading: Once orders are picked, you’ll efficiently load your van, organizing it in a way that maximizes space and ensures safe transport of goods. You’ll be handling various car parts, so attention to detail and the ability to manage different sizes and weights is essential.

On the Road:

• Delivery Routes: After your warehouse duties, you’ll hit the road, delivering car parts to a wide range of businesses and customers in Colchester and the surrounding areas. You’ll be responsible for planning your routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries.
• Customer Interaction: As the face of our company, you’ll be interacting with customers regularly. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude are crucial. You’ll ensure that all deliveries are completed to a high standard, maintaining our reputation for reliability.
• Problem Solving: Sometimes, you’ll need to think on your feet. Whether it’s navigating traffic, managing delivery schedules, or handling customer inquiries, you’ll need to be adaptable and resourceful.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of van driving experience is required, ideally within a delivery or logistics environment.
• Driving License: A clean and valid UK driving license is essential.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with Colchester and the surrounding areas is a significant advantage, helping you to navigate efficiently and meet delivery deadlines.
• Physical Fitness: This role involves some manual handling, so you should be physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving car parts.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively are vital in this role.
• Customer Service: A commitment to providing excellent customer service, with the ability to build positive relationships with our clients.
