Planner – Global Consultancy & Engineering Services
Location: London , must be able to get into Cambridgeshire twice a month (Hybrid)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Type: Permanent (39 hours per week)
About the Role:
A leading global consultancy and engineering services company is looking for an experienced Planner to join their team and contribute to a high-profile defence project. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of planning experience who’s looking to work on a dynamic, high-impact project within the defence sector.
This role offers a hybrid working model, with the flexibility to work remotely 3 days a week, and the chance to collaborate directly with a talented team on-site for 2 days each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks for a major defence project.
- Work closely with senior project planners to manage timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and adheres to SC clearance standards.
- Support the delivery of complex, high-value projects within the engineering and defence sectors.
What They’re Looking For:
- 1-2 years of planning experience, ideally post-graduate scheme or similar entry-level role.
- Active SC clearance or eligibility to gain it.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A good communicator with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and manage timelines effectively.
- An understanding of planning software tools, ideally Primavera or Microsoft Project.
