RICS SURVEYOR & REGISTERED VALUER – Chartered Surveyor

Location: London, NW1

Salary: OTE £80k

Position: Permanent – Full Time

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and RICS Surveyor and Registered Valuer to join an established Property Acquisition & Development company based in the London area.

You must be able to work independently and autonomously as well as being able to work as part of a busy and successful team.

The role will principally involve assisting with the acquisition of residential and commercial properties with a view to assessing their profitability and potential but all aspects of a RICS surveying role will be engaged.

You will be required to review Residential Property Valuations including Landlord & Tenant Act procedures so experience of working in a similar position before is essential.

The ideal candidate will be a Registered Valuer and RICS qualified with post qualification experience. Additional work will include: Preparation of residential valuation reports in accordance with client/company requirements. Understanding RICS Red Book industry/best practice standards to include Housing Associations, Private Clients, Homebuyer Reports, Major Defects Building Surveys, Building Surveys, potential to carry out Commercial Valuations/Rent Reviews

Skills required for this RICS Surveyor and Registered Valuer role will include:

  • RICS / Registered valuer preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience post qualification.
  • Valuation experience the residential sector
  • Highly motivated individual
  • Proven ability to drive projects to a successful and timely conclusion
  • Strong organisational skills in order to set priorities and be responsive to customer requests
  • Multi-tasking abilities and initiative in order to proactively deal with a wide range of queries
  • In-depth knowledge of best valuation practices
  • Attention to detail/disciplined individual
  • A good team player with strong analytical skills
  • Some commercial property knowledge helpful
